We are once again celebrating the outstanding achievement of our Poundbury development Site Manager, Steve Walker, who was named as the Supreme Winner at the prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Awards for 2022 at the award ceremony held in London on 20th January 2023.
Due to his continued dedication, Steve was again selected for his excellence in building homes of outstanding quality. The awards come after twelve months of meticulous judging and three previous stages.
Pride in the Job Awards are the highest industry accolade a site manager can receive and are known as the Oscars of the House Building industry. The awards celebrate the exceptional contribution that site managers make to creating homes.
The rigorous judging process culminates in the finalists being judged on six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and health and safety.
The awards play a pivotal role in the drive of the NHBC to give consumers confidence in the quality of new build homes.
