Search ends as couple find their ideal home
The first buyers have been welcomed at C G Fry & Son’s Old Kelways development at Huish Episcopi, created within the old stone walls of what was once part of the famous Kelways Royal Nursery.
They are Ben and Rachael Wilcock, who had been house hunting all over Somerset before they found what they were looking for.
Said Rachael: “When we first drove by and saw the Old Kelways development it was in the very early stages. Although the house hadn’t been started at that point, the design of it really appealed to us.
“When we looked round the site, something told us these people were good quality builders and cared about the result, and we haven’t been disappointed.
“The house is lovely and the countryside is beautiful around here. You can get straight out on to the Somerset Levels. And Langport, just down the road, is a really nice little town.
“This place is just what we wanted.”
