Corston House gets crowning glory
A crane carefully positions the cupola, complete with gold finial, to finish off the roof of this magnificent building on area 2.22 of the South West Quadrant of Poundbury. Nearing completion, Corston House draws its inspiration from the handsome early 19th century architecture of Dorchester High Street. Brick built with authentic stone and classical detailing, this impressive building has only five apartments in it, all with dressing rooms and ensuites.
