CG Fry & Son wins industry award for four of its developments.

Housebuilder CG Fry & Son has seen four of its site managers announced as winners of the first round of the prestigious National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards.

Steve Walker, Site Manager at Poundbury, Dorchester, Brendan Leech, Site Manager at Nansledan, Newquay; Eddie Hughes, Site Manager at Bellacouch Meadow, Chagford, and Andy Davey at Woodlands, Mere, have been hand-picked for their excellent standards on site.

Recognised within the house building industry as the highest accolade a site manager can receive; the Pride in the Job Awards has seen the CG Fry & Son site managers selected from 16,000 across the UK.

The four winners will now go on to compete for the Seal of Excellence and South West Regional Winner titles with other site managers across the South West.  The winners will be announced in September.

The award represents success for the site manager and their team and they are judges across a wide range of criteria, including consistently achieving high standards of workmanship from all trades on site, demonstrating attention to detail in every aspect of the site, having the technical expertise to resolve any issues during the building process and maintaining excellent levels of morale and motivation within the team.

Kevin Murch, Construction Director for CG Fry & Son commented, “We are delighted that this year four of our site managers are being recognised at our developments.

“Winning four NHBC quality awards is testament to the fact that as a company we are achieving our main aim in delivering quality homes to our purchasers.”
