Housebuilder C G Fry & Son Ltd is celebrating two of its site managers winning at the prestigious NHBC Pride in the Jobs Awards last week.
Steve Walker, Site Manager at Poundbury, won the South West Regional Award for a remarkable sixth year in a row. He also won a Seal of Excellence Award, along with Brendan Leech at Nansledan, Newquay.
The event, held at the Passenger Shed in Bristol, recognised the outstanding performance and achievement of all the NHBC Quality Awards winners in the South West region.
Steve said, “I feel very privileged to win the award again this year. This is a reflection of the hard work and commitment of the entire team at Poundbury.”
Steve will now go on attend the Supreme Awards in London in January 2020.
Brendan, who was nominated for the third year, commented; “I am thrilled to have won and to be recognised with a Seal of Excellence is great, not just for me, but the whole team at Nansledan.”
The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards is the only UK-wide award programme dedicated to recognising site managers who achieve the highest standards in house-building. A Pride in the Job award is the highest accolade a site manager can receive. A Seal of Excellence is awarded to the top 130 Quality Award Winners at the Regional Award ceremonies.
Kevin Murch, Construction Director for C G Fry & Son said: “Once again, the accomplishments of our site managers are remarkable. We are absolutely delighted to have won at the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards. All the teams at C G Fry & Son work with dedication and commitment to deliver homes of the highest quality across the region. Winning the Seal of Excellence awards and the Regional Award again is a testament to this hard work.”
