Back to NewsHousebuilder CG Fry & Son is celebrating three of its site managers winning at the prestigious NHBC Pride in the Jobs Awards last week.
Not only did Steve Walker, Site Manager at Poundbury, Dorchester; Brendan Leech, Site Manager at Nansledan, Newquay, and Nathan Pyett at Grey's Field, Chickerell, win the Seal of Excellence awards but Steve Walker also won the coveted South West Regional Award.
The event, held at Sandy Park in Exeter on the 15th of September, celebrated the achievements of the very best site managers in the region who were hand-picked for their excellent standards on site.
Nathan Pyett, Site Manager at Grey’s Field, Chickerell was selected for the third time, having previously won a seal of Excellence as well as the regional award.
Nathan said; “These awards mean a great deal to those of us in the industry and it’s an honour to be selected. The team at Grey’s Field consistently deliver fantastic results and I am proud to share this with them.”
Brendan Leech commented; “I want to highlight the dedication, work and commitment of my team at Nansledan, and the award is the culmination of everyone’s efforts.”
Stephen Walker, Site Manager at Poundbury in Dorchester was selected for the fifth-year running having won the regional award in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Stephen will attend the Supreme Awards in London on the 26th January 2018.
Stephen said: “I have a fantastic team at Poundbury and everybody works incredibly hard to make this site the success that it is.”
The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards recognises the country’s best Site Managers and is the Housebuilding industry’s most prestigious award programme. A Seal of Excellence is awarded to the top 130 Site Managers in the UK from an initial pool of around 16,000.
