Developer holds event to dispel confusion around Help to Buy

The Help to Buy scheme is as popular as ever with buyers at CG Fry & Son’s Kingston Farm development at Bradford on Avon.

However, there is still a widely held misconception that Help To buy is only for First Time buyers.

Caroline Hill, Sales and Marketing Director for CG Fry & Son explains; “Help to Buy is not only for first time buyers, but also for homeowners looking to move or purchase something bigger.  With the equity loan scheme buyers can purchase their new build home of any value up to £600,000 with just a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage”

For those looking to take a step onto or move up the property ladder, or those who have questions on the scheme, CG Fry & Son is hosting a Help to Buy event at the Kingston Farm development on 9th and 10th June from 10.00am to 4.00pm

Caroline Hill continues, “We are holding an open event for two and three-bedroom homes so that potential buyers can come in and see the homes that are for sale at the development.  Throughout the day our sales team will be on hand to answer any questions to clear up any confusion about Help to Buy.

“One of our beautiful coach houses and a terraced three-bedroom home have been furnished to show how spacious they are and how they could work for you.  We have shown a number of people around these houses and many who have come back since the furniture has been installed have commented on how much bigger they think they are now that the rooms are furnished.

The two-bedroom Coach Houses start from £320,000 and the three-bedroom homes start from £410,000.  Those using the Help to Buy scheme could be a new-home owner during the summer.

Kingston Farm is a beautifully designed development on the edge of Bradford-on-Avon.  Each of the homes has been designed to reflect the local area from the Bath stone to beautiful green spaces.

Under the Help to Buy scheme buyers can secure their home with a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage. The remaining 20 per cent is paid off by the Government as an equity loan, which remains interest free for five years
