Help To Buy Event at Nansledan March 2018

With many house buyers still unaware of eligibility for Help To Buy scheme developers at Nansledan host a special weekend

Over 350,000 people across the UK have now used the government’s Help to Buy schemes to help them cross the threshold and buy their own home, according to recently released figures.

In Cornwall, 1,154 buyers have taken advantage of the scheme, but many of those who are looking to move up the property ladder remain unaware that Help to Buy is not just for First Time Buyers.

With the Government’s commitment last year to fund the Help to Buy scheme with an extra £10 billion, Regional Housebuilders CG Fry & Son, Morrish Builders and Wain Homes are keen to encourage those thinking of upsizing to consider using the scheme.

As Nansledan continues to be such a sought-after location in Cornwall, interest in the range of properties that are for sale remains high.

The housebuilders at this landmark development CG Fry & Son, Morrish Builders and Wain Homes are holding a Help to Buy event on 30th – 31st March, which is an opportunity for those who are looking to move to find out more about the options available through the scheme.

All show homes and sales centres at Nansledan will be open Good Friday and Easter Saturday.  The sales offices will be closed on Easter Sunday and will reopen on Easter Monday.

All visitors over Easter weekend will be entered into a draw to win an Apple Watch Series 3.

As properties below a threshold of £600,000 qualify for the Help to Buy scheme, prospective buyers now have a wide range of options, whether they are looking to take a step onto the property ladder or move into a larger home.

Under the Help to Buy scheme buyers can secure their home with a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage. The remaining 20 per cent is paid off by the Government as an equity loan, which remains interest free for five years.  With properties priced below £600,000 eligible, the townhouses can be purchased under the scheme.

From the distinctive townhouses to the coach houses and apartments, CG Fry & Son is currently marketing a selection of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes from £235,000.

Morrish Builders currently has 3-bedroom homes from £275,000 and will be shortly releasing 2-bedroom Mews Homes from £225,000.

Wain Homes has affordable homes for local residents from £109,000 and 4 & 5-bedroom homes from £315,950.
