Mayor of Wellington officially opens show home at C G Fry & Son’s Jurston Fields development

On Tuesday 29th October, the new show home at C G Fry & Son’s Jurston Fields development in Wellington was officially opened by Janet Lloyd, Mayor of Wellington.

The event was attended by a number of local councillors, Philip Fry, Managing Director of C G Fry & Son and also David Lohfink the housebuilder’s Land & Planning Director.

Commenting on the opening, Philip Fry said, “The launch of the development and the opening of the show homes has been much anticipated by the local community, so we were delighted to welcome the Mayor and her husband to Jurston Fields.

“It gave all those who attended the opportunity to see for themselves the progress that has been made with the development.”

This is C G Fry & Son’s only development in Somerset and the landmark site sees the first phase of 193 homes delivering a range of stunning three, four and five-bedroom properties.  The development will also have affordable housing delivered through LiveWest Housing Association.

David Lohfink added, “We have worked closely with the local community, which has been part of the planning and design process, to deliver much needed housing to Wellington and Jurston Fields will be much more than a housing development.  The opening of the show home is the start of this new and vibrant community coming into being.”

House prices at Jurston Fields start from £249,950.  The sales office is open five days a week, Thursday – Monday. For more information call 01823 217751 or visit www.cgfry.co.uk
