C G Fry has been publicly recognised with not just one, but four national quality awards for the company’s developments in as many counties across the south west region. Individual C G Fry site managers from Dorset, Devon, Somerset and Wiltshire have each won a National House Building Council, (NHBC) ‘Pride in the Job 2014’ quality award. The award-winning housing developments included, Poundbury, Dorset; Fern Green, Somerset and Tisbury, Wiltshire. The site awards also included a C G Fry & Son Partnership Housing project in Devon. The Exeter project combining nine new apartments was built to PassivHaus Principles on behalf of Sovereign Housing Association.

Winning four individual awards across the region is a major achievement and is the result of the drive and passion of our valued site managers and their teams. This prestigious accolade endorses the company’s goals which has now come to fruition and is a reflection of all the hard work by the dedicated staff.”
The quality awards organised by the National House Building Council (NHBC) for the South West region is the highest industry accolade a site manager can receive. Having run for 34 years, ‘Pride in the Job’ is the house-building industry's most prestigious awards programme and continues to recognise the UK's best site managers. *‘Pride in the Job Quality Awards’ and ‘Single Home Commendation Awards’ in the Small, Medium, Large and Multi-Storey builder categories were presented to the best 446 site managers from an initial pool of 15,000. NHBC ‘Pride in the Job 2014’ quality awards were won by the following Site Managers in regional sites:
- Site Manager: Steve Walker – Poundbury, Dorset
- Site Manager: Adrian White – Wyndham Place, Tisbury, Wiltshire
- Site Manager: Aubrey Harris – Leypark Road, Exeter, Devon
- Site Manager: David Pillinger – Fern Green, Langport, Somerset
