Two stunning show homes unveiled in Marnhull

Two beautiful show homes have been unveiled at CG Fry & Son’s new Durbeyfield Park development in Marnhull.

Dressed in creams, blacks and warm oranges, the spacious four bedroom show home showcases stylish wooden furniture and an impressive open plan kitchen and dining room. In the three bedroom show house, the interior designer has used tonal blues, whites and oranges – complemented with wooden and leather furniture – to create a well-designed and elegant family home.

Caroline Hill, Sales and Marketing Director at CG Fry & Son, commented: “The new show homes look fantastic and have been beautifully dressed by our interior designer. Not only do they give visitors an opportunity to see two completed homes, but they also provide ideas on how to use the space.

“The development name was inspired by Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the d’Urbervilles – as Marnhull is featured in the novel – and I love how the interior designer has included some literary touches throughout the show home.

“The landscaper has also used the locality as inspiration for the show home gardens. Native trees have been planted; the three circular areas of lawn are linked to the three local churches; and seven obelisks represent the original seven hamlets of Marnhull.”

Designed to blend in with the surrounding architecture, the homes at Durbeyfield Park also feature attractive Marnhull stone. Marnhull is the largest village in Dorset and lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Blackmore Vale. It is located three miles from Sturminster Newton and close to Shaftesbury and Gillingham.

Durbeyfield Park will comprise 61 new homes, including much-needed affordable housing. An attractive feature pond has already been created, and bee and swift bricks have been added to support the local ecosystem.

A range of three and four bedroom bespoke houses are now available from £397,500. The properties benefit from a range of sustainable features including solar photovoltaic panels, air source heat pumps and underfloor heating to the ground floor.
