Philip is the grandson of the founder of the company, Charles George Fry. After qualifying with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Philip worked for a major contractor in London and moved to CG Fry in 1991. Since then he has overseen the growth of CG Fry to become a major contractor/developer in the South West.
After graduating with a degree in Land Management, Ludovic qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PKF in London. After qualifying he spent 6 years with The Berkeley Group in their St George division. In 2008 Ludovic moved from London to Dorset to take up the role as Finance Director of Magna Housing Group, a group of housing associations with a portfolio of 15,000 homes. He moved to CG Fry in 2015 to assist the team with the planned expansion of its construction operations.
Michael joined CG Fry & Son in 1993 after obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and subsequently gained MRICS status. Michael leads our team of development surveyors and buyers having moved through the ranks here from Surveyor to Senior Surveyor and then to Commercial Director in 2003 and has worked widely with Partnership Housing and private development sites.
Eugene joined CG Fry in 2002, having worked for one of the UK’s largest architectural and planning practices in London. He is responsible for leading CG Fry’s in-house architectural design and technical teams to ensure that we continue to produce buildings which are appropriate to their location and care and attention to detail is taken at all stages in the design.
Caroline joined CG Fry in 2014 having worked for regional and national house builders in the South West for more than 20 years, covering all types of property from renovation to multi-storey city development.
David has 30 years’ experience in planning, land acquisition and project management. Prior to joining CG Fry, David has worked in local authority planning, planning consultancy and for a small south-west housebuilder. David manages the planning and land acquisition functions for CG Fry as well as providing advice and support to the Contracting Division.
Kevin has worked in the Construction Industry since leaving school and has worked as both Site Manager and Contracts Manager for a number of National House Builders. He joined CG Fry in 2001 as their only Contracts Manager and was promoted to Construction Director within a couple of years. Kevin obtained his Master’s Degree in 2014 having completed the CIOB Experienced Practitioner Assessed (EPA) Programme.
Mike started as a surveyor/estimator at well respected regional contractor Stansell Ltd. He worked for some major PLC contractors before joining CG Fry in 2012 with the remit of building a team to deliver the highest quality contracting work in the South West, in line with the CG Fry house building reputation.
Mark joined CG Fry recently having previously worked as a Land Director in the South Coast area for two national housebuilders. He started his working life as a Planner in Local Government, working for two Local Authorities in Hampshire for over 10 years. Mark now leads on finding and securing new land acquisitions for CG Fry, both in terms of immediate and strategic opportunities.
