A blank canvas in a new community

Wendy, a self-confessed regular mover who enjoys creating a new home from a blank canvas, chose ‘long standing reputable local developer’ CG Fry & Son for her next move having been impressed with the house her son and family had already bought at Chesil Reach.

Wendy and her two dogs were looking for a new development as she feels that ‘once a new development is complete it’s an ideal place for walking dogs safely and a good way of meeting new neighbours.’ Owning a CG Fry & Son home was not something Wendy thought was financially possible, but she was able to upsize to a 3-bedroom semi-detached house at the ever-popular Chesil Reach.

Wanting to stay in Chickerell to be close to family and friends, she was initially attracted by the traditional exterior of her new home with a white picket fence giving it a ‘cottage feel’ with added safety for dogs and children.   When asked what other features of the home stood out to her, she said “I loved the bigger kitchen for entertaining and especially the granite worktop (which had been fitted as an extra). The kitchen is a dream and with dogs the utility room is a real bonus. I am also very excited to have a garage again and a large, enclosed garden for the dogs”  

Once Wendy had secured her new home, her son and family were able to make the most of the Recommend a Friend scheme which earned them £250 which came in very handy leading up to Christmas!
