Regional housebuilder CG Fry & Son is once again celebrating the outstanding achievement of its Poundbury development Site Manager, Steve Walker, who was awarded Supreme Winner at the prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Awards on Friday.
Steve was selected for his superb dedication and excellence in building homes of outstanding quality. The awards come after 12 months of rigorous judging and three previous stages.
A Pride in the Job Award is the highest industry accolade a site manager can receive. This award celebrates the exceptional contribution that site managers make to creating homes. This year’s winners were selected from more than 16,000 individuals across the UK and are known as the Oscars of the House Building industry.
The meticulous judging process culminates in the finalists being judged on six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and health and safety.
The awards play a pivotal role in the drive of the NHBC to give consumers confidence in the quality of new build homes.
Kevin Murch, Construction Director for CG Fry & Son commented, “Once again we are absolutely thrilled to see Steve win the 2019 Supreme Award to add to his Supreme awards in 2015, 2016 and 2018. He is also a seven times winner of the Regional Awards, so this recognition is testament to his hard work and also the whole team at Poundbury.”
“For CG Fry & Son this is an endorsement of our commitment to build homes of the highest quality for our customers.”
Steve Walker said, “I am so proud to have been chosen again as a Supreme Award winner. Everyone on the team at Poundbury, through hard work and commitment, contributes to the quality homes that we are delivering.”
